At Salem Lutheran Church, we believe we should put our faith in Christ into practice daily. Our church offers worship, community service, and Christian Education opportunities through various ministries that nourish your soul.

Sunday School
Sunday School is an excellent opportunity for children to develop their faith through learning Bible stories and other Christian teachings. Children are allowed to explore their relationship with Jesus Christ. They also meet other kids from around the community and share experiences.
At Salem Lutheran Church, we believe that Sunday School is essential to our church’s ministry. We have a dedicated staff who work hard to ensure that each child has fun while learning about God’s love and grace.
Our fall season of Sunday School continues every Sunday from 9:20 – 10:10 a.m.
Students, age 3 through 8th grade meet in the Salem Lutheran School building.
Bible Study
Having Bible studies available is essential to the Christian life because it helps develop our relationship with God and gives us a deeper understanding of who He is and what He expects from us. The study of God’s Word helps us to grow spiritually and build relationships with others.
SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY meets at 9:20 a.m. every Sunday in our Fellowship Hall. One of the best ways to get to know someone is by asking questions. The same is true with our Lord. If we want to get to know God better, we can ask questions of him and receive his answers in his Word, the Holy Bible. Our Sunday Bible study is 10 Questions to Ask Every Time You Read the Bible. It’s based on a book by Pastor Andrew R. Jones, former vicar at Salem. Each week we tackle one of the questions and practice using sections of the Scriptures to find the answers. We’re also hearing video comments from Pastor Jones himself. We hope you will join us for this informative study!
Our WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY meets on Sundays at 9:20 a.m. in the 8th Grade Classroom at Salem Lutheran School through November 12th. This study is based on a book entitled “Family Trees and Olive Branches: Creating a Culture of Grace in Your Family,” by Christina Hergenrader.

Our Tuesday Morning Bible Study has resumed and meets each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in our Fellowship Hall. We have begun the study of The Sermon on the Mount as recorded in Matthew, chapters 5-7, which is the longest teaching of Jesus in the New Testament. Jesus calls His followers to be the “light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14) We do this through prayer, worship, witness, service, and studying the Scriptures. These specific chapters include familiar passages like the Beatitudes (5:3-12), the Lord’s Prayer (6:3-13), and the Golden Rule (7:12). Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God, calls us to follow Him. Join us as we grow in God’s Word and the grace of Christ Jesus. Study materials and Bibles will be provided. (You can bring your own Bible, if you like.) You will not be called on to read aloud unless you wish. Even if you’ve never been to a Bible study before, come and hear these life-giving, life-changing words of Christ.
Our Men’s Bible Study meets in the church conference room on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and is currently studying the Book of Daniel. Just as Daniel stood firm in his faith amidst a hostile culture, we will explore the timeless truths and powerful lessons this book offers. Discover the prophetic visions, courageous examples, and unwavering trust in God that will inspire and challenge us in our own walk of faith. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow in your understanding of God’s sovereignty and find encouragement in the midst of adversity. Grab your Bible and join us for an engaging journey through the Book of Daniel this summer.
