Shelby Waggoner

Ms. Shelby Waggoner earned her Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Indiana University where she studied English, theatre, and philosophy, and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Missouri State University. Shelby worked in higher education for 10+ years but decided that she enjoyed kids way more than adults and began teaching in 2025. In addition to her passion for teaching, Shelby also enjoys theatre and has been involved in performance for nearly 30 years. In her free time, Shelby enjoys watching live theatre (the weirder the theatre, the better!), doing her nails, spending time outdoors, making coffees, and exploring St. Louis. Ms. Shelby’s two children, Jaime and Daisy, both attend Salem Lutheran School.
