Jason grew up a Catholic but converted to Lutheranism after marrying Emily Pasman at her family’s church, Trinity Lutheran, in Paw Paw, MI. They were married in 2011 and had four children who attend Salem Lutheran School.

He is a student at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, serving one year as an intern minister at Salem. He is eager to learn about the church’s ministries and how they can better reach the community. He is also excited to help students at Salem Lutheran School grow spiritually through service projects. While at Salem, he will grow in his skills as a preacher and teacher and learn administrative tasks for his future vocation as a Lutheran Pastor.
