elizabethconsoer@slcas.org

Elizabeth earned her degree at Concordia University in Seward, NE. She teaches our 2-year-old class, is passionate about early childhood education, and knows how to engage and connect with her students. Elizabeth creates a warm and nurturing in her classroom, often at a time when it is children’s first experience outside of the home. Mrs. Consoer is very adept at making children feel at home and accustomed to a routine and schedule. She enjoys this age because they have big emotions and can help them sort through them in a safe and comfortable environment. She helps them learn that emotions are ok and ways they can deal with them. She understands the importance of play in early childhood development and incorporates it into her daily lessons. One of her favorite Bible verses is from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
