Mrs. Praechter received her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Fontbonne University. She has worked in speech therapy for over 35 years and has helped countless students improve their communication skills.She conducts school-wide screenings to identify any possible speech and language concerns and conducts therapy for students in preschool through 8th grade. She loves teaching in a small school after coming from public schools and making contact with parents. Mrs. Praechter is passionate about her work and believes that every student has the potential to make significant progress with the proper guidance and support.  Her favorite Bible verse is from Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ, Jesus”.
