We offer a variety of athletic programs for students in grades K-8. They have the opportunity to participate in Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, and Track & Field. These programs allow students to learn teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and help them prepare for high school athletics while promoting physical activity and healthy living.
Salem offers cross country as one of our athletic programs during the fall season. This program is open to all students in kindergarten through grade 8. Whether placing first in a race or simply finishing the course, Salem Lutheran School's cross-country program allows students to challenge themselves and grow in their faith.
Girls' basketball allows girls to compete and have fun while developing essential skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline. Our girls' basketball team is open to students in grades 5-8 and is coached by an experienced and knowledgeable staff committed to helping our players reach their full potential.
During the winter season, we offer a basketball program that is open to all boys in grades 5-8, and they will have the chance to compete against other schools in our conference. Basketball is a great way to exercise and have fun, and we are thrilled to offer this opportunity to our students.
Volleyball is an excellent way for girls to stay active and have fun while developing essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. Our team is comprised of girls in grades 5-8 who share a passion for the sport and a commitment to excellence. Our goal is to instill in our players a love for the game that will last a lifetime. This is offered in the spring.
Boys' volleyball is an excellent way for students to stay active and develop teamwork skills. This spring program will also help students to develop discipline and commitment. Our boys' volleyball program happens every spring season and is open to all students in grades 5-8.
Track for Boys and Girls
This program allows students from grades 5-8 to compete in running events such as the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the 400-meter dash. The track program is an excellent way for students to stay active and involved in their community. It also provides a chance for students to develop teamwork skills.
