Admission Procedures
Schedule a Tour
Our enrollment process starts with a tour of our campus led by our admissions director. This is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to see our classrooms and facilities, meet our staff, and get a feel for the Salem Lutheran School community. If your student is in grades K – 7th and is looking for a school starting in the fall, we invite them to spend time shadowing with us to get to know their potential classmates, teachers, and the school better. Apply for Admission
Our school provides an online application that can be completed and submitted electronically. Once you have submitted your application, you can track your progress through our Online Admissions Portal.
Submit all Required Documents
Once you have finished the online application, the next step is to submit all required documents. This includes a completed enrollment form and an official birth certificate. For transferees, the parents must sign a form to release records from the previous school they attended. A copy of the dissolution decree that states custody rights must be provided for divorced parents.
For Kindergarten, the child must have reached their fifth birthday before August 1 to be eligible for enrollment. Likewise, upcoming first grade students must be six years old before August 1 to be able to enroll in Salem Lutheran School.
Once we have received all the required documents, our admissions committee will review your file. Remember that enrollment is not considered complete until all paperwork and fees are received.
