Girl Scouts at Salem Lutheran School offers girls the chance to seek out new activities, ideas and friends in a safe and fun setting. There are troops in place for each level of Girl Scouting from Kindergarten through 12 grade. Troops meet individually throughout the school year with all Salem Girl Scouts getting together for special functions like Thinking Day, Court of Awards, Cosmic Bowling, Disney on Ice, Scout Sunday and our group camping at Superama — just to name a few! We also promote service to community, church and family. We participate in the annual Girl Scout April Showers and have one neighborhood service project each fall. Oh and don’t forget those cookies!! For further information contact Troop Organizer Susan Etter.
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.
