At Salem, we believe every child is a valuable community member. We work hard to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and loved. Our small class sizes allow us to get to know each child individually and tailor our instruction to meet their unique needs.
We also offer a wide range of extracurricular activities so that every student can find their niche. Whether your child is a gifted athlete, musician, or artist, they can explore their passions and develop their talents at Salem. And because we are a Lutheran school, faith is at the heart of all we do. We instill in our students the importance of service and prepare them to lead lives that are faithful to God.
Learning Center
We are equipped with resources to address a variety of student learning issues. We have a teacher who pushes into classrooms and assists students, and some children come to the learning center for small groups to support their needs. We also offer speech therapy services for students who need them.
Wildcat Club
Wildcat Club is a great enrichment program for children who need care outside of school hours. Children can come from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. almost all year round, including during summer, Christmas break, and spring break.
Counseling Services
We have a full-time counselor through Lutheran Children and Family Services who supports children who need help with personal, family, or school issues such as trouble transitioning.
One Church, One School
Salem Lutheran School is just across the parking lot from our church. Our Pastors, Vicar, and Music Director are at our school several times a week. On the weekends, classmates see each other at Sunday School and church services.
