Salem Lutheran School Tuition and Fees 2017-2018

Tuition Assistance Programs

We know that families make a financial sacrifice to send their child(ren) to Salem Lutheran School. In an effort to offset the cost, we offer several programs to help finance tuition.

Dream Team

Dream Team is a group of school parents and church members who work a concession stand at Cardinals’ games on scheduled dates. A percentage of the money earned that day is distributed to the workers and is put towards tuition.

Together We’re Better for Tuition

When Purchasing Together We’re Better  (TWB) certificates, parents may designate that 50% of the profit be used for tuition. Parents of 8th grade students may designate it for funding their child’s class trip.  Church members can also designate that their TWB profits go toward a school family of their choice, or have it continue to help fund PATS ministry here at Salem.

Salem Grant in Aid

Parents who are active members of Salem Lutheran Church in good standing are eligible for applying for a Grant-in-Aid provided their children are currently attending or have registered to attend Salem Lutheran School.  All families making application shall maintain a 75% church attendance ratio.  Aid will be granted monthly as long as the church attendance ratio of 75% is maintained.

A TADS Grant Assessment Application must be completed to certify your need for assistance.  To apply for Financial Aid for the 2017-2018 school year for grades K-8th, you will need to connect to the e-mail that was sent to you for enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year.   Deadline was April 1, 2017.

LESA Building Blocks Scholarship

Building Blocks Scholarship Fund offers financial aid to children from economically disadvantaged families who wish to attend Lutheran elementary schools in the greater St. Louis area. No family’s grant shall exceed one-half of their normal tuition amount.  For more information, visit LESA’s website: www.lesastl.org.
