Reopening Salem

Reopening Salem Lutheran Church to Worship

Salem Lutheran Church’s sanctuary is open to worship on a limited basis with Holy Communion being served, once again, at all services in July.  Please note, this first weekend in July, there will be no worship service at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 4th. The church will hold it’s regular 8:00 & 10:30 a.m. services on July 5th.

Salem’s Board of Elders met this week, and has adopted this updated policy for operating during the COVID-19 pandemic, which you may read by clicking here.  There are several changes in place for July including returning to singing of the final hymn.

To hear more about July’s worship services please watch this video from Salem’s pastor Wayne Huebner.

The Board of Elders is still asking those who wish to attend worship in person to please sign up ahead of time.  You may do this by signing up online on this page between 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9th and 8:00 p.m. on Friday night July 10th.  You may also call the church office if you prefer between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.  Anyone wishing to attend services at Salem Lutheran Church must have a reservation.  Those who do not register ahead of time will not be permitted into the sanctuary.  If you have any questions or concerns please direct them to the church office at 314 352-4454.
